GUITAR...BASS...DRUMS...AFTERSHOCK! Three Hunterdon County kids destined to rock! Music was the main inspiration that brought them together while attending middle school. That was when they were in the 6th grade. Since then their progression has been text-book Rock School 101. This here's the short list which they have checked off:

• Practice instruments to build chops.
• Basement jams to hone skills.
• Backyard-barbecues for impromptu set.
• Talent show gig to target fan-base...mostly girls.
• Get a PA.
• Headline community day and proceed to tear-it-up with tight jams and too much VOLUME!
• Create buzz amongst the town.
• Finally...GIG.

Yes, yes, yes, they did that. Their story reads like the perfect rock-n-roll formula, and it's all true.

The AFTERSHOCK sound is straight out of the early 70's, of which they are disciples. These kids cut their teeth on great songs and killer riffs. Not that "Idol" vocal-eze that permeates the airways and pollutes the mind. The gear, the look, the VIBE is all cool and all analog. It's about the hiss and pop of vinyl just after the needle is dropped, and you're ready to rock - and the stereo is CRANKED. It's low-slung, low-brow, and hi-fi.

Fourteen year-old bass phenom, Austin carries most of the lead vocals, which harkens back to a few inspirations: AKA Paul McCartney and Phil Lynott of THIN LIZZY fame. Axeman Sammy(the youngest member) delivers the goods with all guitars. His natural talent and classic rock poise are reminiscent to a time when guitar-gods ruled the airways. Ryan keeps it all tight with a heavy beat that drives like a machine...full throttle...tach pegged!
